This is responsible detailing. Client wanted the vehicle polished. However upon closer inspection we noticed that the vehicle has clear coat failure in certain areas. Therefore we measured the clear coat for thickness and dexterity. We determined that a polish or any other means of shining would harm the pain and cause more damage. We explained this to the client and assured him that we could do more damage than good for this vehicle by polishing the vehicle. At the end of the day the car could have looked great being polished but the long term cost of polishing it would have caused more damage and cost the client a new paint job. We are not in the business of damaging client vehicles or causing them future costs through irresponsible detailing and repainting costs.
