As already informed, ABCID is mandatory Under NEP-20 , All college concerned are informed to Update ABCID through college login.
Link For the Same is available to all colleges for batch 2022 and 2023.
RR of the Students without ABCID will be treated as Incomplete.

Further from the 1st semester (batch 2024) ABCID will be kept as mandatory field without ABCID student will not be able to submit the Form.

Government Degree College Gurez celebrated National Youth Day to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 12/01/2024.
To mark the occasion, the College organised an Inter-College Online Quiz Competition on the “Life and Philosophy of Swami Vivekananda” and the Poster Making Competition on HIV/AIDS. The Quiz Competition was aimed to raise awareness among the students about the teachings and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda who believed in the centrality of the youth power in the national regeneration while the Poster Making Competition was meant to raise awareness about the spread, prevention and treatment of the HIV/AIDS, challenge stigma and discrimination surrounding AIDS and HIV and express solidarity with those affected with HIV infection. The college also arranged the Live Telecast of Honble Prime Minister's Speech on the occasion of inauguration of National Youth Festival at Nashik, Maharashtra which was the main highlight of the day. The programme was organized by Red Ribbon Club, NSS and Department of History under the patronage of Professor Farooq Ahmad, Principal of the College.

The quiz competition comprised of 20 MCQs and was held via online mode on Google Platform. The quiz saw a good response from the students from various streams and semesters. In the quiz competition Raishma Nazir of 1st Semester secured the first position, Rifat Ara of 3rd Semester got the second position while the third position was bagged together by Mohamad Shafayat Khan of 6th Semester and Mohammad Iqbal Khan of 3rd Semester.
In the Poster Making Competition Mehnaz Ahad of 6th Semester from GDC Sumbal, Waseem Manzoor Parray from IGNOU Study Centre GDC Sopore andShabnam Nisar of Ist Semester from GDC Gurez secured the first, second and third position respectively.
The position holders shall be felicitated with appreciation certificates in a ceremony to be held at College.
