The exterior steps leading to the bridal suite have been completed, and they look great! The bride and groom can enter through there and be introduced inside and come down the interior steps. #hiddenvistaranch #eventbarn #ThorndaleTX

The bridal suite is being framed (plumbing too) above the bathrooms and kitchen. The walls inside the main area are now ready for a paint selection. There are too many shades of white that this will be a process to select the right one . Any suggestions ?

It’s been awhile since we posted and there is a lot of progress to share. The Cocktail hour patio is almost done, the overhang (pull through is complete, minus the lights). Today, they began welding the custom modern railings that will be all around the front patio and down the new stairs that were poured last week. Tomorrow the fence contractors return to finish the fencing around the venue (to keep the cows out).

During the storms, our paddle boat broke loose from the dock. It was fun paddling it back to the dock. I loved seeing the reflections in the water of the cabin/wedding barn and hearing the frogs and crickets sing.

We had guests this past weekend stay in one of our Airbnbs and they shared this video with us to share with all of you. Their sweet dog shared a kiss with a curious cow. Very sweet moment and experience our guests got to have at HvR #hiddenvistaranch #thorndaletx

This happened yesterday at #HiddenVistaRanch #thorndaletx The front concrete patio got poured. I can now envision an outdoor wedding on the patio or at the pond during the golden hour. Thursday they plan to pour the drop off area, overhang area & sidewalks. Then, the back of the building. This is a big project and lots of cement trucks traveling in so it has to be done in stages. This video was filmed last night when the sun was going down. Wow! I can't wait to see bride and grooms here! #rogerstx

Excited to see the walls today going up for the restrooms and utility room. It is quite windy here at #hiddenvistaranch #thorndale but it’s in the 70s today (so ignore the wind noise on the video ).

When you rent our cabin through evolve.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, etc. you get a bag of duck feed to feed our Peking duck. He’s so sweet. I was getting things ready at the Cabin for our next guest, and decided to enjoy feeding the duck myself and lo and behold a cow seemed interested too.
