Here’s a 3- Rail, Pressure Treated -Split Rail Fence with Black welded wire attached.
Did you know that we also custom make our own split rail gates? Steve dowels all the rails himself and makes them at his shop, they are super strong!! 💪
All the rails for this job needed to be cut down to fit as they come from the factory 11’ ft long- so with a little chain saw magic Steve was able to create this area and make it all symmetrical!
This little fenced area is for two little dogs to be able to go out and do their business!
Gotta say, there’s nothing quite like being able to open the door and let your dogs out!! Especially when it’s 10 below and snowing!! 😂

May I have a 🥁 Drum Roll Please…. 7.5 days later, this amazing fence is complete!! 👍💪💥⭐️🙌🤩‼️

I present to you this 8’ ft tall x 370’ linear ft long, 1x12x16- Rough Cut Hemlock- Shawdow Board Fence!!!

We mounted this fence on all pressure treated 6x6x12 & a few 6x6x16’s posts that were all concreted into the Earth at 4’ ft deep!!

The PT posts, (ALL 49 of them) , are 8’ ft on center and we even added 2x6’s in the middle of every 8’ ft section for extra stability!!💥💥‼️‼️✅

Some fun facts:
*Took 2 guys 4 days to set all the posts.
*We used 230 rough cut boards!!! 💥💥
* we used 315-80 pound bags of concrete!- that’s 216 cubic feet and or/ 25,200 pounds!! 😱💥💪
*Lastly, there is just over 11,000 Galvanized Nails in this fence!!
🤩🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️She’s a Big Ole’ Beauty!! We have made our customers super happy with this one!! 💥🥰🙌💕

A beautiful Pressure Treated “Dog Ear” style Privacy Fence with Custom Made Gates!! All posts are Pressure Treated as well and concreted into the Earth for maximum stability.
The customer showed us a photo of the style driveway gate they wanted - only change was they wanted less spaces on the wood!- Steve Custom Built everything on site and exactly as they wanted!

We built this “temporary“ 4’ ft tall Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link fence last week for customers who bought a beautiful property on the Hudson River! 💥💥
They are renovating the existing house and also putting on a large addition but the biggest problem they had at the moment was that the pool that was there didn’t meet NYS pool code!!
They needed a fence as per their building department. They eventually want to fence the perimeter but without the house being done, they wanted to wait on that- so, we installed this temporary black chainlink fence that meets NYS code and now they can use the pool in the meantime!! 💦💥💦💥 Just in time as this week the temps are supposed to be close to 💯!! 🥵
I’m sure everything will be beautiful when they are done!! ✅ We look forward to installing the new fence when they are ready.

We built this COMBO- Fence made of 6' ft tall White Vinyl solid privacy fence and also used 6' ft tall Galvanized Chain Link for Jane and her husband Trevor who own Jane's Pet Care.
They offer pet sitting, dog walking, grooming and now they have added Dog Boarding to the list!~ I can tell you this, their fencing is stellar!!! Your dog's will be safe with Jane!!! I've personally known Jane for years as she is friends with my youngest Daughter. She is trustworthy and responsible and she's also a licensed Vet Tech! You can't ask for more than that.

We Supplied and Installed these gorgeous Black, Ornamental Aluminum, Estate Gates!
Our Customer has a VERY LONG driveway that enters and exits onto two separate streets. The driveway is so long that it mimic’s an actual street, problem being, people were using it as a ‘cut through’ to get to another area.
Fed up with traffic cutting through his land he decided it was time to add a couple of Gates to block off his private driveway.
Looks like people will need to take the long way around now… 💥💥💥
The posts are 6” square aluminum and concreted 4’ ft deep into the ground, the arched gates go from 5-6’ in the middle.
We think these gates are stunning and they compliment our customers property and home.

We recently built this black, vinyl coated, “Steel Post and Welded Wire” Fence for Remi the one eyed dog😉 🐶🐾💕 and his parents who recently purchased and moved into a house on our street! Welcome Neighbors!!
When we went over for the estimate we got to meet this cute little 20 pounder🥰
We know all about our rocky land so we knew our customers land wasnt going to be any different- we knew we were in for some Rocky Diggin’!
We suggested this style fence for a few reasons- ONE- the steel pipe posts were drilled and driven into the Earth- I won’t say “easily!” 💪 - But, I’d say, ‘easier’ than it would be to put in a larger wooden post.
-TWO- the black fence tends to disappear into the background of woods, so everything sort of blends in… And -THREE- the most important reason- choosing the right fence for the situation and keeping Remi Safe!! 🐾🐶💕
The contour of the ground slopes, so if you zoom in on the gates you’ll notice that they don’t line up on the top- Steve could have made them level at the top but that would’ve meant leaving gaps at the bottom… not good for a little dog… 🐶 so if you look at the bottom of the gates, Steve welded extra pipe on at an angle so they meet the Earth, close the gap and keep little Remi safe. 💥💥💥🐶🐶🐾🐾

We think it came out great, don’t you?! but most importantly, Remi approves!! 😂 🐶🐾💥

We built this beautiful 8x15 Bark On Cedar Pergola for our customers who are also our friends! 😁 They had an old arbor/ pergola that had seen better days and wanted to replace it. They were concerned because of the very old grapevines that were growing on the old arbor… we simply built the new one and reattached the old vines and “volia” there you have it!!
This was a one day job. We used screenings to backfill the posts so it’s all natural and the inside is approximately 8’ ft tall.
We think it came out fantastic and our friends/ customers love it too!! 💥💥💥

Yesterdays fence was built to create a little privacy for a Hot Tub zone!
This fence is 6' ft tall, it's constructed from 1x6x12 Pressure Treated "Bull Nose" Boards and it's mounted on 5x5 Pressure Treated Posts that have been concreted into the Earth for stability .
Fences like this one are also popular for folks that are looking to 'hide' propane tanks, generators or disguise the trash can area.

One might think that life in the Mountains should be Idyllic, peaceful and quiet…Right? Not for our most recent customer who’s lived in her house for 44 years.

We took a ride up Rt 28 to the Town of Shandaken for a fence estimate and to do a site visit. It’s always a beautiful ride to the mountains, no matter the season. After meeting with the homeowner, we immediately understood the daunting reality of her situation and we felt compelled to try and help her in some way.

Allow me to back ‘pedal’ for a moment and share a little history lesson, for those interested…

Some 150 years ago, Thomas Cornell, a Steamboat tycoon had a vision to transport goods and services to our region.
He wanted to connect the Great Lakes to the Hudson River and carry cargo and passengers through the interior of NYS. It was a brilliant idea!
Construction of the Rondout & Oswego Railroad began in 1868 and it reached the Town of Shokan by 1869 and Phoenicia by 1870.
By 1875 the Ulster & Delaware Railroad took over and immediately expanded to Hunter, NY, eventually connecting Kaaterskill Railway and extending to Tannersville, by 1892.
In 1895 the tracks extended from the Rondout to Kingston Point allowing a direct connection to the Hudson River.
By 1900 the Railroad completed construction to the Western Territory, it reached Oneonta, where it connected to the Delaware & Hudson Line.

The trains carried construction supplies for the Ashokan Reservoir, (NYC’s water supply) Blue Stone for NYC sidewalks, dairy products and of course, passengers. By 1913 more than 676,000 passengers rode the train to the Catskills. Tourism was alive and well!

As roads were built and cars became a faster more direct alternative for travel, the railroads fell onto hard times.
Sadly, the last freight train departed Kingston, NY on September 28,1976 and set out to collect the remaining train cars, it returned to Kingston on October 2, 1976 and ceased operation.

In 1979 Ulster County purchased the 38 mile segment of tracks from Kingston to Highmount, NY to preserve it for possible future use.
After years of negotiations and after several repairs from Flooding & Hurricanes the Railroad opened again, this time it was all about tourism!

By 2012 you could Hop on the train in Kingston and take a ride up the tracks with your family and travel just past Hurley Mountain Road. You could “Leaf Peep” in October, Ride the “Polar Express” with Santa in December, and ride the “Easter Bunny Express” come Springtime. It was a giant hit locally and a tourism win for Ulster County.

Fast forward: About seven years ago, The Rail Explorers: Catskill Division, located in Phonicia, took over the rail tracks in the Catskill Mountain region. They supply Pedal Powered Vehicles for tourists. Their website talks about feeling the magic of steel wheels on steel rails...Seems like a fun and exciting adventure, if you like that sort of thing…Soon after the start up several local neighbors made their feelings of detest known and after a few years and several town board meetings the Rail Explorers agreed to add rubber tracks to the bottom of the cars in an attempt to quiet the sound.

These train tracks literally run through peoples yards! Tourists who visit our area line up for this adventure in droves. It’s BIG money for Rail Explorers and let’s face it, for Ulster County Tourism as well. Problem being: like most big business goes, the level of money taken in seems more important than the homeowners pleas for peace and quiet. In high season the rail cars run 7 days a week from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

Can you imagine having this in your back yard? The pedal cars have become less loud, but not the occupants. I’m sure it’s a fun activity, however for the homeowners, it’s a nightmare! The riders squeals of delight echo through the woods, the yelling back and forth have become a real problem, not to mention the litter. Don’t get me started on the effects towards the wildlife!!

So what’s the answer? I’m not really sure what it is but it’s a dilemma none the less. I feel badly for the homeowners who have occupied their houses for many years. Choosing to live in the mountains to become one with nature, to enjoy the tranquility that comes from such a choice should not be a life sentence of bombardment by this loud, rude life interruption which leads us to the reason for a fence!

This 6’ ft tall Pressure Treated “Dog Ear” style Privacy, Solid Board Fence that is mounted on all 5x5 Pressure Treated Posts that have been concreted into the Earth should help our customer both with the eye sore and assist to muffle a little bit of the noise pollution.

Huskies are notorious escape artists! They require much exercise and proper stimulation, daily.
Hopefully this new 5’ ft tall, non climb- agriculture wire fence enclosure will be a fabulous new safe zone for his family and him to have lots of fun and exercise together.
This fence is mounted on steel posts on the sides and back but for an extra special curb appeal the owners went for Bark on Cedar posts, a matching custom built Bark on Cedar gate with a ‘header’ above to round it all off.
We think it came out beautiful and our customers love it!! 💗🐾🥰🐺!! Yay!!

What’s that you say? Well, it’s a 6’ ft tall, custom built- Pressure Treated “Dog Ear” privacy fence!! We love how this one came out!
Notice how neat and clean the yard is.. ?! we don’t destroy peoples yards while working hard. In this case we even ripped out and old rotten fence prior to this new one.
Steve has mastered tip toeing through the tulips, quite literally!! 🌷🌷🌷💥💥💥 😂

This fence is 180’ linear ft of 3- Rail, Pressure Treated, Split Rail that we completed this past week up in Woodstock, NY!

There was an old fence in the current location that had thousands of pounds of concrete on the bottom of the posts that needed to be Jack hammered out of the ground before we could even begin installing the new fence… and all that concrete had to be removed and disposed of… 😳Yes!! You read that right!! 1,000’s of lbs. 💪

But, have no fear… we have the tools and the know how to get the job done and do it right!!! 🔥💥🔥💥
Took us 2 days to complete this beauty!!

Check out this Privacy Fence!!! 💥💥💥It’s 196’ linear Feet of 6’ ft tall Pressure Treated, Horizontal , Solid Board Fence!!! It’s located in Hurley, NY!
We used 26 - 5x5 posts that were sunk 4’ ft deep into the Earth and all the boards were “screwed” on as per the customer ‘s request !! We used 164- 16’ ft long PT boards! 1,476 Screws were used to erect this beauty!!
It took us 2.5 days to complete!!!
To quote our customer- “ I can’t believe it!! I’m as happy as a clam!!”

You might have to wait a little for us to get there but once we are there we don’t fool around!!! 💥💥

🥰💥🥰💥 We removed and replaced a lot of Cedar Square Lattice for one of our favorite repeat customers.
The area was a tight squeeze to work in. Digging holes and laying the dirt on tarps so when we back filled and cleaned up after the installation, it looked like construction never happened.
This property is beautiful with its English Gardens and orchards, the addition of the Classic, Cedar Square Lattice makes this property even more beautiful!! What do you think?!
