Campbellsburg and Eastern Elementary Family Resource Center - FRC
Our mission is to support students and their families and to remove any barriers to learning they may experience.
Summer Meals start today. Please visit us at the high school between 10am and 12pm on Tuesdays to pick up a weekly meal package OR visit the Henry County Public Library Monday-Friday for daily meals. Due to construction at HCHS, there is a different traffic pattern to follow. Please look for cones, arrows and volunteers to direct you into the pickup line at HCHS. Thanks and we hope to see you tomorrow!
Family Latino Night at the Henry County Library!
Silly Safaris has animals for a meet and greet and BYB Event Services brought us a great bounce house that fit inside so we can stay dry! Games and giveaways! Free tacos!
Our GEMS celebration was a success. We brought together GEMS from
All three elementary schools to mingle amd make new friends, get a tour, meet some staff and celebrate our year in this fun transition night. A huge thank you to Melissa Perkinson for leading some team building activities, and Debbie Hartford and Renata Ingram for collaborating on this project.
The School Smiles dentist is returning to our school soon for dental cleanings. This Thursday (4/25) at Eastern and Friday (4/26) at Campbellsburg. If you missed the dentist’s first visit, there is still time to get your student signed up for our upcoming visit! Please visit www.schoolsmiles.com/student-signup to sign-up today! A new form needs completed each school year to remain in the program, but if you have already completed a form for the 2023-24 school year, you do not need to sign-up again. School Smiles accepts Medicaid, private insurance, and offers self-pay rates for those who may be uninsured.
Another great year at our father daughter dance!
FRIDAY!!!
Help us plan for Summer Meals!
Henry County Public Schools Nutrition Department is excited to announce that we will once again host the summer meals program!
The summer meals program provides each child in Henry County ages 18 and under with 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches as well as a gallon of milk and 46 oz. bottle of juice at each weekly meal pick-up. It is not required that a family participate every week but during the time the pick-up is made you must take all items offered. In order to prepare for this we are asking for your help.
Please take a moment to fill out this form. Answering these questions does not mean you have to participate in the summer meals program. This is to help us make a plan to best serve the families of our county!

EES GEMS are pounding it out with POUND FITNESS today!
Pound fitness today with gems at CES!
GEMS at Campbellsburg Elementary were treated to a fun fitness class this afternoon! We love Pound Fitness!
The large donation of food we received this morning was from a third grade student named Alden Pollard who has created a community service project he calls Food For Friends. Alden is a wonderful support for the FRC in many ways, and he wanted to continue to give back and came up with this project all on his own. You can help Alden's mission by shopping and donating through his Amazon wish list here!
See you there!
Our friends at the Henry County Public Library are nothing short of amazing! They support our schools, staff, families and children in many ways. Recently at one of our Advisory Council meetings, Youth Services Librarian Suzanne Banta presented all of the local FRYSCs with a large donation of underwear from their Drop Your Drawers Drive! Thank you HCPL!
So proud of our Alden!
GEMS Week 4: Step aside, dancing queens - GEMS are taking center stage, boot scootin’ at the ‘BURG. A huge thank you to Mrs. Rose for leading and spending your afternoon with us!

2024 GEMS (Girls Empowered & Motivated to Succeed) is underway with Fifth Grade girls at both Campbellsburg & Eastern Elementary! We just completed week 3 with this energetic bunch! So far we’ve learned expectations, talked about our goals for gems, designed shirts, practiced positive self talk, painted and learned some self defense moves! Still to come: skin care, pound fitness, line dancing, organization, middle school transition, our pen pal program between gems at each school to set up some friendships for next year and more!
As part of our Social Emotional Lessons, Mrs. Ashcraft and Mrs. Rahm are showing students how to spread love and kindness by serving the community helpers of Henry County. Please spread the word and stop by for some Cookies and Cocoa. Our students are excited to give back to our community.
Our counselors are AMAZING! Thank you for all you do to support our students and staff. We appreciate you!
