🇺🇸April is Month of the Military Child! 🇺🇸 I am so proud to be a part of two schools that acknowledge the sacrifices and unique challenges of this population, not only on special holidays, but all year long. - 💙 In November, military connected students at Campbellsburg Elementary were honored at a student led program that celebrated their Veteran(s). - 💙 Our GEMS (at both schools) have continued to send happy mail each month, through letters, notes and cards to veterans all around the world through Soldier’s Angels. - 💙 Eastern Elementary created and collected dozens of cards for veterans to receive during mail call on a recent Honor Flight - 💙 And during this month of the military child, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce, acknowledge and celebrate our military connected Colts and their families.
