Quite a stunning sunset tonight! Captured a photo while inspecting the pumpkins and sunflowers. All seems to be growing nicely with the recent rain showers. Praying for more, however! The Lord's handiwork is truly marvelous and worth admiring.

We've had a good last couple weeks! We've done so much I've kinda forgot it all πŸ˜… we've been busy with all the chores. But last weekend we had the SMILE show at the local fairgrounds. We took 3rd for showmanship and 3rd and 5th for our older two market wethers! As well as we got some rain! We were dry for a few weeks, and the rain came in and really helped the pumpkins shoot up. They've grown more then 6 inches in the past week!
We got our first batch of meat chickens back and in the freezer and have them available for purchase!

What we have available right now.
Chicken eggs at $4 a dozen or 3 for $10.
And meat chickens at $5 a lbs.

Message us today if you want to purchase any!

We've had a lot happening in the past 3 weeks. We had a show memorial Day weekend with the goats. Sadly I seem to have lost the photos from the show. And then we came home and got the goats all settled back in. As we looked at getting a new fence line put up to start rotational grazing with the goats. That following Saturday, we had a group from the local church come and help put in a fence line as a fundraiser for the mission trip they're going on. Sadly we had a goat go down with an illness that we were not able to get him recovered from and we lost him the following Saturday. Then we started planting our pumpkins and sunflowers that we will have available this fall. And we started a land cleaning project to reclaim grass land that the woods have taken over, over the past few years. And we're finishing out our first batch of meat chickens for the year! We will be processing them this Thursday. We forgot to add that we also were able to take our youngestcfarmer and our bottle babies to Hollywood Elem to participate in the Farm to School day. The children loved our little visitors.

What we have available right now.
Chicken eggs $4.00 a dozen.

I don't have a lot of pictures from the last two weeks as things have been fairly normal. But we have had a few exciting things happen! I'll start with garden update. We revived the garden by the house and got it planted. And we added more plants to the big garden. As well as getting flowers planted and will hopefully have some for sale this summer. The chickens have sure been enjoying this warmer weather (when it hasn't been raining πŸ˜‚) and we had two more baby goats born! Harmony hills Nala gave birth to two absolutely beautiful babies 😍 we haven't figured out their names yet, but we're looking forward to watching them grow out! We've been enjoying watching all the babies bounce and play as they discover the world.

Available for purchase.
Farm fresh eggs $4.00 a dozen.

We started by planning peas and green beans. through that week we where slower just keeping up with normal life tending to the animals. And getting the pony ready for her first show! Then on the 26th the little farm hand took her to a show and won 1st place in the walk/trot barrel race! This last week we've been playing with all the babies and enjoying the spring weather. And the peas and beans started to sprout! Today we where busy getting the area ready to put a new fence line in for doing rotational grazing with our goats. and our turkeys started to hatch!

The following are available for purchase.

The goats aren't quite sure what to think about the snow ❄️ I do think they're to big of fans. They'd rather just stay in the barn where it's warm can't blame them though. But the rabbits are enjoying some fresh hay to play in and eat!

15/01/2024

Just a reminder for everyone we have firewood for sale! We had to raise our prices for the new year. Its $125 for half a cord and $250 for a full cord. Plus delivery of $.40 mile. With this cold snap we know everyone will be using up some of they're wood stacks, so this would be a good to to get your wood piles full before the next cold snap! Message us today to set up a delivery!

We are looking to place our meat chicken orders for this year. Who would possibly be interested in getting some? The first batch would be ready around the end of May. And then on through the summer and into early fall.

Got to enjoy a day off of work around the farm, enjoying watching all the animals play outside.

We just finished up out latest project before dark. we put in a turkey winter coop/meat chicken brooder. We've kept 4 turkeys to raise over the winter, and will be offering turkey eggs for sale hopefully this spring. And when the weather warms up and the turkeys move back out to forage, it will become our meat chicken brooder.
