Getting all our goodies tonight so the Stuart Lions can serve their food and Lemonade Shake Ups during Scoop the Loop this Saturday in front of the Stuart Herald. Lions Roar🦁❣️🤗

The Stuart Lions Club and Marketing Main Street are binging the circus back to Stuart! Tickets will be arriving around 7/10/24 to start selling. Watch for more details to come🥰🦁

What does the Stuart Lions Club do for Stuart, Iowa:
*The Pre School Kids Sight
*Good Egg Days noon meal
*Community Christmas
*The Giving Tree in the Pocket Park at Christmas time to get food for The Cottage Pantry
*Kids Shop Free
* Help decorate and put up the park Christmas Decorations and Community Christmas Trees
*Yard of the Month
*Baked Potato Bar to raise money for the EMS, Police, and Fire Dept.
*Spring Soup Meal to raise money for the Congregate Meals
*Help with Sarah’s Holiday Caring
*Hearing aides and glasses
** AND this August they are bringing back the Circus to town. It’s not been here since 2015 when the Stuart Lions Club brought them here❣️

9SW Lions District like other Iowa District has had unusual amount of tornadoes, hail and wind. Lions in 9SW are meeting in various clubs to help especially Minden area and Greenfield area to began the healing needed. Lions help in a variety of ways and here is a pictures and short lines to show just how important Lions are to our district and our state. Please consider joining or participating with Lions to make the difference we are in their district, state and International efforts to help others.

This Saturday May 18 for Scoop the Loop in Stuart the Stuart Lions Club will be serving:
Walking Tacos, Sloppy Joes, Brats, Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs (with cheese), Chips, Big Dill Pickles, Pop, Water, and their fresh made Lemonade Skake Ups.
We will be set up in front of the Stuart Herald newspaper on the NW end of 2nd St. and start serving at 4:00.

If you want please bring a dessert to silent raffle off to help raise money to donate to the Police, Fire, and EMS.

The Stuart Lions Club is looking for donated desserts to have at their Silent Auction to help raise money for the Fire, EMS, and Police Departments You can drop your donations off at the Stuart Herald or bring to the event on Thursday night May 2, 2024.

The Stuart Lions Club helped with the Bicycle Safety back in June of 2023 and also did it a couple times in earlier years. We have donated and gave out many helmets over the last few years. Since 2023 the Stuart Lions Club have given out all the left over helmets we had to others to give out to children to be able to ride their bikes safely and be protected.🦁🥰
Be sure your child takes part in this year’s Bike Safety Rodeo done by the Stuart Police Department on May 11, 2024.

The Stuart Lions Club members are working on the plans for the 2023 Stuart Community Christmas Extravaganza. 🎄
Saturday, December 9th will kick off with the Annual Kids Shop Free event and plans are still in the works for the rest of the day. There will be kids events, the soup meal, drawings, a kids movie, tree lighting, businesses open uptown for shopping, Tour of Homes(if we find people who want to decorate their homes to do the tour), and the carriage ride.
Also we are looking for helpers to decorate the Pocket Park and Lawbaugh Park if anyone would like to help.
Our plans are to make it a fun family day to kick off the Christmas holiday for everyone to enjoy on Saturday December 9th in Stuart.

Yes, this will be happening again❣️ During Stuart’s Annual Community Christmas Event on the second Saturday in December, 12/9/23.

Fantastic night at Scoop the Loop in Stuart. The Stuart Lions Club kept busy serving some good food and many, many, Lemonade Shake Ups 🦁❣️

It’s Scoop the Loop day in Stuart. 🌞
The Stuart Lions Club will be serving Walking Tacos, Brats, Hot Dogs and we have chili and cheese for them also with all the fixings.
NEW this year is a Las Vegas Dog which is a cross between a hot dog and a brat, it’s a little spicier and wrapped in a soft tortilla shell❣️
Also selling Chips, Big Dill Pickles, Pop, Gatorade, Bottled Water, and our Famous Lemonade Shake Ups.
We will start serving at 4:00 right in front of the Stuart Herald, West end of downtown Stuart.

Yard of the month is back!! We are honored to partner with Cohenour Electric and The Stuart Lions Club to make this happen in Stuart for the second year in a row. The May 2023 winners are Rich & Jill McMenamin! Please comment below any suggestions for June!!
