The team’s annual Utah training camp kicked off on Monday and this year we have Biathlon Canada joining us‼️ The 3 week camp will include both collaborative and single-team workouts 🤝 AND, in just 1️⃣ week, athletes will race at the U.S. Biathlon Fall Festival and International Team TriSoldier Hollow Nordic Center Center! The races will act as U.S. qualifiers for the final on-snow pre-season camp in Vuokatti, FIN in November! For more information on the selection criteria, visit usbiathlon.org/athlete-resources.

Taking notes from Grace Castonguay 📝Quick facts: There are 2 different ways to shoot in biathlon: standing (how Grace is shooting standing up) and prone (laying down on the mat). The standing targets are 4.53 inches wide, while the prone targets are even smaller at 1.77 inches wide! To make it even more difficult, the athletes are shooting from 50 meters (164 feet) away, all while trying to keep their breathing under control! Have more questions? Shoot us a DM! #motivationmonday #usbiathlon #usbiathlonteam #biathlonfamily #cleanshooting
