🚨 THURSDAYS! 🚨 We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce Kelly Green’s new Thursday night weekly residency here at Kissa Kissa!

Join us every Thursday night at 6:00 as she shines a spotlight on the artists and albums which have helped shape her love of all things jazz. You never know which special guests might drop by, either!

For those who aren’t yet familiar with her, is an acclaimed pianist, vocalist, and composer based in NYC. Her natural and conversational singing and piano artistry strike a balance between sophistication and modernity, all while firmly rooted in tradition. Her compositions are refreshingly innovative yet rooted in jazz.

She’s headlined at prestigious venues worldwide, including The Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Jazz Club NYC, and the DC Jazz Festival. Kelly’s first three albums, alongside luminaries including Christian McBride, have received critical acclaim and airplay on XM radio, WBGO, and more. She’s shared the stage with jazz greats like Steve Wilson, George Coleman, and Scott Robinson among others.

We hope to see you Thursdays! Doors open at 5:30, there’s never any cover, and beer & wine specials are available before 7:00.

As a young person growing up in Central Florida learning this music, I remember dreaming about living in NYC and having a band…having a team of amazing musicians and friends whom I felt at home with and who would push me and our music to higher and higher levels. 💭

I feel so incredibly fortunate to have found these incredible people, Luca, Evan, & Elijah, who have made this vision a reality…and even better than I could have imagined ✨
They are each so amazingly talented, hardworking, and hilarious. We’re always laughing & having fun on and off the bandstand.

How did we meet? This is what everyone always asks us…interview coming tomorrow…stay tuned 👀

I am hoping and praying that as a human race we can overcome the illusion of separateness and prevent any continued atrocities against each other.

On a personal note I feel extremely blessed to spend another year on this gorgeous planet making music and expressing, shining a light on vulnerability and the importance of togetherness as a society and with Mother Earth.
