Recently, one of our exceptional employees was out and about, doing some shopping at our local Walmart, when they noticed something fishy happening at the checkout. Another shopper was purchasing an unusually large amount of gift cards, and our employee's instincts kicked in.

Without hesitation, our employee stepped up. Our employee, drawing on their experience from the banking world, took it upon themselves to educate them about the red flags of potential fraud. It was their proactive intervention that finally made the shoppers realize they were being targeted by a scam.

We couldn't be prouder of our team member for demonstrating such courage and quick thinking, even outside the confines of their workplace. This is a shining example of the power of community vigilance and how each of us can make a difference by speaking up when something doesn't seem right.

Thank you to all who participated in the Bulldog Reality Summit at Batesville Middle School! We had the opportunity to help students learn about the responsibilities of being an adult by simulating real-life financial scenarios. It was a great experience for everyone involved and we hope the students gained valuable insights into the importance of financial literacy.
