If I invited a handyman to fix my window and he started waxing poetic about his hammer, I would be freaked out and ask him to leave. I don't want to know about their tools. Well coaches, your potential clients don't want to know about your tools either. Be they certifications, assessments, books, courses, your potential clients just don't care. You walk away wondering why no one is responding to your GREAT intros and marketing. Meanwhile, your potential clients want to know you can fix their problem. Do you even know the "real" problem your clients have? To enroll enough people into your coaching, you have got to figure that out.
What is the difference between a good answer to "What do you do?" and a great one? (watch the video to hear Melissa's) There are three things you need to know. 1) what are your unique superpowers. As a consultant, coach, healer, there are a lot of people who do similar things. What makes you unique is your Endotype Formula superpowers. Do you know what they are? 2) You need to know your client perspective. How you see your work is not as important as how your client sees it; at least for marketing 3) You need to know the three problems your clients have right now. What is the deep inner problem they have? This one you more most likely to know .. AND it is the one you should NOT talk about in your marketing.
