Protect your bike! There's a big difference between using a lock and using a lock the right way. Follow these guidelines to offer yourself the best chance at ruining a bike thief's day!

1. Use a U-lock to secure the frame and rear wheel to something sturdy.
2. Loop a cable through your front wheel and secure it your U-lock.
3. If your wheels use quick-release skewers, consider replacing them with locking ones.
4. Secure your saddle with a separate, smaller cable and lock.
5. If possible, avoid leaving your bike locked up outside overnight.

Unfortunately, no locking method is completely thief-proof, but these steps will give you the best chance!

The film follows adventurer Jeff Johnson as he retraces the epic 1968 journey of his heroes, Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins, from Ventura, California, to Patagonia, Chile. Along the way, Johnson encounters various challenges, including being shipwrecked off Easter Island and surfing one of the longest waves of his life.

The movie culminates with Johnson's attempt to climb the Corcovado Volcano, reflecting on the importance of environmental conservation inspired by Chouinard and Tompkins' commitment to preserving Patagonia's wilderness.
