For those who have been asking about my writing process, I'm always getting ideas for music. Always... as in everyday for the last 55 years. If I were actually organized, I'd be be dangerous. So in that spirit, I like ragtime rhythms and started exploring what will become some demented form of the style. At least harmonically. I often "play out" or let the concept "fly" even if not well executed. That gets the idea physically "going". THEN comes the detail work.

Did this as a tribute to Linkin Parks' #chesterbennington back when he passed. 'Somewhere I Belong'. I saw him perform, sitting in with another band in LA. It wasn't long after that he passed. Great performer and way too young to be gone.
