This week is First Friday downtown! We’re having a Pop up plant and flower sale outside of . We’ll have tons of starts and flowers and more will be available from and Coles Gardens! 🌱 who’s ready to garden?
Some VERY exciting news to share with you today. As of Friday, March 15th we will be able to accept SNAP online. Customers in Kingman, Golden Valley, Lake Havasu, and Flagstaff will now have the ability to shop for local groceries online and get them delivered right to their door or pick up at one of our convenient locations.
We are one of only about a dozen organizations in the entire country to be able to do so!
This will mean a few changes:
(Kinda) Bad news first:
Unfortunately, if you are paying with SNAP you will not be able to create subscriptions. Due to the way cards are processed within the system you will have to go in and order a la carte.
We will be creating a pre-selected “farm box” item that you can add to your cart in lieu of signing up for a subscription. We will also keep plenty of eggs and milk in stock so that you don’t have to worry about missing out.
Now, the REALLY great news:
#1 Thanks to Pinnacle Prevention you will now be able to earn Double Up Food Bucks credit on all AZ grown food products. For every $1 spent on SNAP eligible items you will earn $1 to spend on fresh produce, dried beans, and edible plants in your next order.
We will be carrying this model over to West of 3rd as well, although at this time we do not have the functionality to share credits between online and our storefront.
#2 We will be offering FREE home delivery to customers paying with SNAP. Thanks to a grant program we are involved in we have limited time funding to help get local food to your front door.
To pay with SNAP online select “Online SNAP/EBT” as your payment method under payment information. This will take you to a secondary site to finish entering your payment information. Please reach out if you need assistance!
Anyone else feel themselves come alive in the spring once it warms up and the days get longer? All the sudden I’m ready for all the projects, wanting to exercise, and generally just more energetic. Hope it lasts!
West of 3rd Pick Ups are now Saturday! Home delivery and KAWS pick-ups remain as scheduled!
Havasu farmers market to accept SNAP purchases Starting this Saturday, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, will be accepted at the Lake Havasu Farmer’s Market as a way to purchase food.
Exciting news! We are super close to being able to accept SNAP/EBT online.
If you are using, or have used an Arizona SNAP Quest EBT Card, we'd like to hear from you! This survey will help us make fruits and vegetables more affordable and convenient in this community. Enter to win a $100 Visa Gift Card as our thank you for providing your input.

So some pretty big news!!!
Come January 1st Andrea will be taking over management at Flagstaff CSA and Local Market.
We are so thankful to Genevieve for all her work to carry the CSA to this point and for the opportunity to continue on the 22 year legacy of bringing local food to the Flagstaff community. It is so small feat to organize a CSA of this size and navigate the logistics of creating a year round local food marketplace.
We have been met with open arms by many already and are looking forward to working with our partners there to increase local food access. We'll still be working with the same beloved farmers and vendors at the CSA and bringing in a few fan favorites from Kingman.
Also Mohave county customers DON'T PANIC. Andrea and Rosebird will still very much be doing our thing in your neck of the woods. We will simply be adding to our network.
To follow along with updates in Flagstaff follow the CSA on social media and sign up for their newsletter

Once December hits growing slows wayyyy down in the high desert. We're still harvesting and planting a bit but right now we're mostly relying on things that were planted months ago.
Arizona is pretty amazing though. We can still source amazing fresh food from organic farmers just a few hours South where the weather is much more suitable for growing this time of year.
Its exciting times to be a part of building a food system in our neck of the woods.
PS Looks like we'll have flowers in time for Christmas bouquets.

Kill two birds with one stone and scoop up a bouquet of fragrant stock. They brighten up any room and the scent is pleasant and strong enough to make people say "ooh what's that smell 😍" instead of "eww what's that smell 🤢."

Hi There!
A love for good food runs through our veins. Not just good for our taste buds: but good for our bodies, good for our communities and good for the Earth. Our small scale farm aims to provide Kingman with fresh produce thats meets all of these criteria season after season. We work with our hands, not machines, to take care of the soil the way it should be which in turn provides us with quality and nutrition unmet by anything found in a grocery store. No GMO's, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers, just plain good food. If this sounds like something that you can get behind, well then, it seems you are in good company. Come along as we turn this little dream of ours into reality, we'll bring the veggies.
