Too many people suffer from bad testing and the "treatments" or regimens for things that many of them do not have.
Just because a test is available does not mean it is accurate or the right way to test for things.
Many tests are designed to help sell products or specific treatments.
That's not the way it should be.
Please talk to your primary care doctor if you have questions about a particular test. Don't hesitate to get a second opinion if things don't seem right, the recommended treatments seem extreme, or you are suffering a lot.

Claiming to derive a vitamin from a food that does not contain that nutrient. For example, b-12 supplements that claim to be from nutritional yeast, even though nutritional yeast does not naturally contain b-12.
Claiming to make a vitamin from a particular food that only contains very small amounts of that nutrient, which would mean it would be financially impossible to make and sell that product. For example, zinc supplements that claim to be made from guava.

Did you know that maca comes in a variety of colors, even though it comes from the same seed?
The different colors can have very different effects.
Yellow - Nourishing and best taken daily over the long term to build health and a support a healthy response to stress.

Regenerative agriculture adds carbon to the soil, improves local water tables and rainfall, and produces the most nutritious foods.
The brands of foods and supplements you buy can have a powerful impact on improving the world!
This is one of the easiest and most impactful ways we can make a huge difference without much effort.
For example, if everyone switched collagen powders, from ones made from cattle that were farmed by cutting down the Amazon rainforest (which is where most collagen peptide powders are sourced from), to one made from cattle farmed using regenerative agriculture on small family farms, it would protect countless acres of rainforest and reduce carbon emissions.
There are so many swaps like that we can all make, and those decisions add up to make a big difference.

Choose clean-ingredient sunscreens that nourish and protect your skin.
We have been seeing far too many influencers and articles about how you don't need sunscreen.
This is horrible advice. Skin cancer is not something you want to deal with.
We understand that a lot of sunscreens have terrible ingredients, but your choice does not have to be between terrible ingredients and no sunscreens.
Choosing clean, safe sunscreen, wearing sun-protective clothing, and staying in the shade are great ways to reduce your risk of skin cancer.

However, a lot of bergamot supplements may not actually contain bergamot.
This is because of a mistranslation of a Thai word.
So many bergamot supplements have pictures of kaffir limes, also known as Thai or makrut limes, on their bottles and literature.
A lot of bergamot supplements are made from this lime, not bergamot.
This means that people looking for the benefits of bergamot are not going to get it.
If a company cannot even put the right fruit on the label, how can we trust them to do proper quality control?

Unfortunately, most Bergamot supplements are not even made from Bergamot but from kaffir or makrut limes.
If you see a Bergamot product with a picture of a wrinkly green lime, you should know that the company clearly does not know what it is using its products for. It's a huge red flag.
