COMMUNITY AND COFFEE: Stompin' Groundz a community coffee shop is set to open its doors soon in southeast Colorado Springs. Ownership hopes this will be a space near D2 schools for students, friends, and families to get together. Even before the first cup of coffee is sold, D2 students have been involved in the process. This small business is providing students with internship and employment opportunities close to home. Check it out!

By focusing on internship opportunities while students are still in high school we aim to help students find their "why" as they begin to set career goals. We believe this helps students get an early start as they focus on what they need to do to land their dream job.
