Tantalizing Minds Academy Videos

We had a visit from Santa today and guess who he found and brought back to us? Our gingerbread! They picked up a few friends as well as some cat and dog gingerbread. How awesome is that?!

This school year (in person and online students) we will be focusing the first six weeks doing a new program called ABC Bootcamp. This will be 26 days of learning and reviewing letters and their sounds. We will be doing 1 letter/sound each day. We will have special letter days and a fun surprise at the end of the program. I don't want to give too much of the fun away. The rest of the school year we will be learning all about heroes and their character traits. Each week a new hero will be featured whose life lessons facilitate discussion and teaching of social, emotional and academic skills for life success. Each week will also feature a sub theme which will build more connections and curiosity for the subject and content. By meeting "heroes" from many places, time periods, ethnicities, cultures and career paths, kids will be able to begin to identify with positive role models while also building empathy and understanding for people of diverse backgrounds and interests. Additionally, kids will explore how each hero worked in community with others to achieve their goals. We will learn about heroes such as Amelia Earhart, Nikola Tesla, Beethoven, Emily Dickinson, Ansel Adams, Florence Nightingale, and many more! So exciting! I can't wait to begin this amazing school year with you starting in September! 🥰
