Summer learning is in full swing!
Praise God! Yesterday Toni and Khadijah received the sacraments of Initiation. May God Bless all of our students and families this summer!
Yesterday SLS held its end of the year awards ceremony. Students were recognized for their academic achievements, effort, and Christian Character.
The Monsignor Thomas J. Herron Scholarship, The Ryan Family Scholarship, and the SLS Faculty Scholarship were also awarded to well deserving families.
We also said goodbye to several faculty members that will not be returning to SLS next year. We wish Mrs. McPeak, Sister Kathy, Miss Golda, Miss Brown, and Miss Welsh all the best!
Finally, we hope all of our families and friends have a relaxing and happy summer! Thank you for making SLS your home. We are the BEST because of YOU!

Field Trip Fun!
We would like to congratulate the “Business Standers” for winning Floor Hockey Club’s inaugural ‘Laurence Cup’! Way to go gentlemen!
A little rain couldn’t keep the smiles away on Spirit Day! Tug of War, Pizza Box Races, Dizzy Bats, Sack Races, Ice Cream, and an 8th Grade vs Faculty Volleyball Game were some of the highlights to an amazing day! A special thank you to Mr. Hochman and all of our parent volunteers for making this day special!
We would like to congratulate our 5th-graders for earning gold ribbons today during their Dancing Classroom team competition. These students will compete for the grand final on June 2nd! Good luck dancers!
Recently our students in 2nd- 8th grade made Mission Rosaries. We ask our Blessed Mother to intercede for us and for all of the world during this month of May!
SLS and Buddy the Blood Drop would like to thank everyone who came out to support our Red Cross Blood Drive last Sunday. We surpassed our goal!
Yesterday we crowned Our Blessed Mother at our annual May Procession. We would like to thank our 3rd grade May Court and all of those that participated in this beautiful liturgy. Queen of Heaven, Rejoice, Alleluia!

WOW! Last week SLS won a $1,000 raffle prize at the annual gala held by The Foundation for Catholic Education. We thank all of our friends at the Foundation for their generosity and their support!
Last week several classes learned about circuits and built their own circuits. A special thank you to the Tiger Woods Learning Lab for coming and teacher our students.
Congratulations to Ryan for winning our Soles on Fire raffle prize, a framed autographed photo of Jalen Hurts and Jason Kelce!
