Let us rejoice and be glad in it! Congratulations to our 2024 graduates, our third-trimester award winners, and our beloved Dr. Helen McLean, who is celebrating 45 years at Saint Andrew School.

Dr. Helen McLean IS Saint Andrew School to generations of SAS students past, present, and future. As both an educator and principal, her commitment to Catholic Education has allowed her visionary leadership to shape lives inside and outside the classroom, with an unwavering commitment to helping students grow in their faith. Her vocation inspires all lucky enough to be affected by her genuine goodness and faith-filled life. So it is with grateful hearts that the Saint Andrew Home and School Association created the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award in honor of Dr. Helen McLean. Last night, TJ Forbes became the first recipient of this award, which will be given annually to an 8th-grade graduate.

Interested In Helping CYO Next Year? The St. Andrew CYO invites you to join us to learn more about our organization. This event will be held on Thursday, June 13, at Johnny B's Place (4029 Garrett Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026) starting at 7 p.m. Come to meet the current CYO coaches, and learn how you can volunteer in the 2024-2025 school year. Support the 8th Grade Service Project!!! Tomorrow, Friday, June 7, members of the Shevlin Foundation will be speaking with our students and collecting donations for their pantry. We have received very little in the way of donations. Please consider sending something to school tomorrow. Reminder: Dress Down Fundraiser tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29!
There will be a dress-down fundraiser to purchase a memorial brick by the Mater Ecclesia statue as a sign of the school community’s appreciation for the years of service Mrs. Mary Tremper gave to the Saint Andrew School students. Additional money collected will be used to purchase books for our school library.

Those dressing down can indicate who they are cheering for at the annual 8th grade vs. faculty volleyball game by wearing red for the 8th grade and white for the faculty. The faculty has not won this competition since 2019. It would be so good to see many white shirts tomorrow!
