Did you know that stress is a major cause of illness? Iowa State University is being proactive in providing activities to help students deal with stress including chair massages as part of Wellness Wednesdays at Parks Library. Do you or someone you know attend Iowa State University? Jill will be at Parks Library tomorrow THIS Wednesday 11/6 from 10am-1pm giving FREE 5min chair massages as part of Wellness Wednesdays. Meditation and other calming activities are part of the festivities. Stop by Room 140 in Parks Library and relax your way into your day! These will also be happening Wednesdays 11/13 & 11/20 with her colleagues, same place. -Jill

Whoever said "act your age" is stuffy. Had a fun Halloween photo shoot with suite mates Tammy (ghost headband) and Haley (sparkly mask) this afternoon! -Jill P.S. We can now do TRIPLES massage 3- massage tables set up in the same room with 3 LMTs! -Jill

This has nothing to do with massage, but research shows that people who spend money on experiences vs. just stuff are happier. Jill and hubby Joe both had the day off today, and played a round of golf together (showing some vulnerability posting the scorecard...we are NOT stellar golfers!). Going into the last hole Jill THOUGHT she was behind Joe by 1 stroke (and has a bit of a competitive streak in her). They tied on the last hole. When walking to put the clubs in the vehicle, Joe said he thought he had a 50 (as he had forgotten to add a penalty stroke on 1 hole). So they tied :) Since golf season is almost over, if you want to have a fun experience with your significant other, perhaps a couples massage is on the horizon! You're bound to get along as it's difficult to make a couples massage a competition! -Jill
