Congratulations to former Bucs assistant coach Ben Gordon on being named the assistant coach for the 2024 USA Hockey Hlinka Gretzky Cup!

Gordon was an assistant coach during the 2018-2019 season.

The Hlinka Gretzky Cup is an annual invitation-only event held each August that is the only best-on-best competition at the U18 level. The tournament serves as the first opportunity for fans and scouts to see NHL Draft prospects in their draft year!

The Buccaneers are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of former Buccaneer, Todd Kidd. Todd was an incredible player for the Bucs During the 94-95 season. Helping the Bucs win the Anderson and Clark Cup.

Congratulations to Bucs Alum Ilya Protas on signing an entry level contract to play for the Washington Capitals!

Ilya played one season with the Bucs and played 61 games, had 14 goals, 37 assists and a total of 51 points

Congratulations to Bucs Alum Jak Vaarwerk on going to Buffalo Sabres development camp!

Vaarwerk will be a sophomore at Lowell in ‘24-25 and was with the Bucs during the ‘22-23 season and put up 13 goals, 32 assists and 45 points total.

Congratulations to Bucs Alum Kyle Okposo and the Florida Panther on winning the Stanley Cup!!!

Okposo played for the Bucs in the 2005-2006 season! He helped the Bucs get a Clark Cup championship and was named USHL Rookie of the year, Clark Cup playoffs MVP, First-All Team Rookie and to the USHL All Rookie Team!

Now for the first time in his 17 year career in the NHL Okposo has won Stanley Cup!
