Last weekend I closed out my 56th show at Utica High School: Fright Night - Three Tales of Terror by L. Don Swartz. It was fun to produce, design and build a set where we could change scenes for three different one-acts using only ten-minute intermissions. (Tell Tale Heart, Monkey's Paw, and Midnight Wax) I thought I would share a few pictures. Next show - CHICAGO in April!

Another Sunday spent working in my "open air" scene shop.

This is a picture of the main structure of a set I built in 2016. I am only doing this because the cost of the Lauan plywood used to face the front of the set has more than doubled since this show. It is now about $26.00 a 4x8 sheet. The cost of building materials is really hurting the high school theatre programs like mine that receive zero funding from our districts.
