Smith Made

A larger then usual sample went out today. This is one of our versailles parquet tiles. Our Normal tiles are 3’, this one is custom made for a client that specializes in high end flooring installation.

We just wanted to take a second to say thank you, to the team over at Detroit Design. They are a group of true professionals, and we could not be more pleased with the beautifully written article about SmithMade, in the latest issue of Detroit Design. We would also like to thank our clients for the opportunity to create one of a kind pcs with them.

A new vanity for the SmithMade shop restroom. We decided to play with a grain direction design on the wenge doors. The upper frame is built to encase a mirror that should be in soon.

This sample will be sent out for approval soon. We will be making multiples of this table top for our client. .

These rift and quartered walnut Panels were made to book match around the entire room. Each panel was made to a specific size, based off of a blue print and field measurements. The men responsible for installing these panels did a stellar job. More pictures of the installed panels to come.

This beautiful veneer is rift and quartered walnut. The pattern is called a book and end match. We stitched the material together and laid it up on a substrate.
These pcs will be shipped put to our client who will turn it into 4’x16’ conference table. Can’t wait to see the finished product. There are so many applications for the beautiful material.
