Broadway watched Phantom of the Opera run its final performance on Sunday after 35 years. We're "old school" at CST and we think the difference in game 5 between the Astros and the Phillies came down to small ball. The Astros played some hit and run in the 8th putting Altuve into scoring position at third with 1 out. Alvarez blasts an infield shot driving the winning run home. In contrast, the Phillies get Bryson Stott to third with 1 out. Instead of playing for contact, Brandon Marsh swings out of his shoes and eventually strikes out. Schwarber hits into a perfectly placed Mancini to end the inning.
