Our Story
Here at The Scoop we’ve been a family owned business since July 1999. After working together for 25 years at a physician’s office we (Dorothy Goodloe and Vicki Edwards) decided to open our own business. We opened “the SCOOP” at Sugar Creek Plaza as an ice cream parlor but shortly after added hotdogs for the cooler months. In 2005 we decided to add a second location on Northside Dr. where we operate solely from now. The shoppe now has a full menu of soups, sandwiches, salads, wraps and our very own recipe for the best Chicken Salad. All this to go along with our selection of ice cream and other desserts. Two days a week we have Dorothy’s son out back charcoal grilling burgers. We love to bake so now our customers can order cakes from our menu or request special orders. We have been happily operating for 21 years and we give that credit to hard work, good customer service and prayer!
We like to treat our customers as valued friends and our staff as our own family. Our appreciation goes out to all our wonderful and loyal customers. Providing good food and a happy experience at The Scoop is our greatest desire!
