Attention all Legacy 31 competitors and parents: On August 24th, we will participate in the Tampa Grappling Industries competition. Here I have provided the registration link. Coach Josh Leduc has requested that all athletes register under the Sapateiro Top Team affiliation and Academy (make sure you select both). This will be a huge team event with multiple Teams and affiliates all competing under the STT banner! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask! Can't wait for this!

•People from all walks of life get together, socialize, bond and we have created a community and atmosphere that I genuinely think makes it easier for any new member to come in and feel welcome and at home.

•From our success at competitions to our own personal growth on and off the mats, we couldn’t do it without each other. Im proud that L31 is becoming what it is today and I am excited to see what the next 10 years brings

•I want to continue growing the gym and nurturing this atmosphere. I used to think that if I never became a world champion or ADCC hall of fame recipient, that I would be a failure and let you all down. But now I see there is more pathways to a fulfilling and successful life. I’m not gonna stop chasing my dreams as an athlete, and I’m going to achieve my personal goals; however, in the end if I fail, I will be able to say two things:
1. I tried
2. I did it with you guys each and every step of the way.

With the back to school surge upon us, all kids classes will be on break the week of August 5th to allow everyone to adjust with school starting back. As for adults, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays classes will be on break the week of August 5th. Tuesday and Thursdays adult classes will continue as normal!

This is also the week of my birthday and the anniversary of my brothers death, so I will be taking time this week to be with family. Love you guys to the moon and back!

We at LEGACY 31 believe that providing outlets such as Martial Arts and fitness to our local communities in Valdosta, GA, and Lowndes County can help strengthen these communities. These activities can teach valuable skills and lessons that will encourage growth not only as an athlete but also as a person.



We also believe that these services should be easily accessible and affordable to every individual. We make a promise to each of our members and the communities that we serve to maintain a gym with a safe, effective, and accessible environment for any and all who wish to train in the sports that we are so passionate about.



Thank you so much to all of our members, current and previous. To those who haven't started training, we hope that you will pay us a visit and give us a try! We can't wait for you and your family to find a home at LEGACY 31.

Ladies Self defense seminar ✅

We had a blast learning how to get off our back, stand up, and create distance. We played some awesome task-based games afterwards to strengthen concepts and get some live drilling. These ladies killed it! Big shout out to the ladies that already train that took their time to come help out and encourage our guest!

Our Women’s Self Defense Seminar is today at 10! For our normal Saturday crew, we will still be having open mat at 11!

Tomorrow is our second-ever Parent's Night Out! Coach Eady will be running the show.

-Drop-off: 5:30pm

-Latest Pick-up: 9:00pm

-Bring your kids for a fun night of BJJ, group games, Pizza Dinner, and more while you have a night on the town or a relaxing night in!

-We just sent out the email regarding the new schedule! New or changed classes are highlighted in blue.

-All Kid's classes will be on break the week of July 4th and will resume under the new schedule the following week (July 8 - 12).

-Adult classes will continue as normal during this week except July 4th which we will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

-Also remember that June 22nd is our women's self-defense seminar! Free admission. Ages 13+.
