We are, of course, excited for all of our registry couples but these two are extra special. We always ask our couples how they met... Thomas and I met in the Fall of 2013 during our freshman year at Ole Miss. It was a Friday night in the heart of football season, and through a mutual friend, Thomas gave me a ride back to my dorm like the sweet guy he’s always been. I didn’t learn much about him during that short car ride except that he was from Valdosta, but coincidentally, we saw each other again while tailgating in the Grove the next day. My dad likes to joke about the fact that we are both born and raised in Georgia but had to travel 9 hours away to find each other. Although we have been naturally inseparable since that weekend, it wasn’t until sophomore year that we actually started dating. Start with the Classic Savoy Cocktail recipe, elevate the experience with your coupes and top off the rim with Pocketful of Starlight Vanilla Sugar to make it extra special. Mix this one up for your Saturday cocktail hour and let us know what you think. 2oz Cognac 1oz Cointreau. 1oz Lemon juice. 1/3 oz simple syrup. 1/2 egg white. Mix in shaker with ice and pour into rimmed coupe. Make sure you double it for your cocktail hour partner.
