1️⃣ Love your agent. Note: I didn't say "have an agent." I said to LOVE them. You should LOVE working with your agent! The conversations should be easy and you should be confident you're in good hands with them on your side.

2️⃣ Make a Budget with your Lender. And local lenders are even better, because they and their appraisers are familiar with our market! Plus, they're so much easier to get a hold of (they love crunching numbers and getting back to your right away). Also, they want your and my repeat business. Creating a budget with a lender you trust will help keep you from getting in over your head with a house payment.

3️⃣ Learn about your Local Market. What's selling? What's not? What's happening in the neighborhood you're wanting to buy in? I don't just help my clients buy homes today...I want to help them sell their homes in the future! It's important to me to guide them and help them make wise investments!
