As part of our US PREP Grant, we have the opportunity to have a one-year Site Coordinator, who will help us fine tune our new clinical model within a SpEd context. Check out Touro University California Alumni Valerie Miner, recent Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Graduate! Congrats on the recognition!
Valerie Miner has gone ABOVE and BEYOND for her students this year. Before the school year even started she was reaching out to families, building relationships and delivering supplies to each student to ensure their success in school this year. She created a library on wheels to put books in her students hands and continue to build their relationship through personal connection during the pandemic. Miner felt the COVID-19 pandemic fatigue setting in and decided to get up everyday to come to campus to teach from her classroom to continue to foster those relationships and start small group interventions on campus. Valerie lifts the spirit of anyone she talks to and is such a spark of joy on our campus! Weir would not be the same without her! Thank you Valerie, for being an .
