Recently I have becoming more hard on myself to be in search of my culinary roots. I’ve been researching a lot of west African Spices and this is what I come up with a lot of the warming spices that goes in my grandma sweet potatoes are the same spices that are naturally used all over west Africa such as ginger cinnamon cardamom nutmeg so I mixed all them up with a little bit of organic sugar and sprinkle them over some potatoes and roasted them in the oven until golden brown in delicious 🤤
