I am now offering scalp deep treatments, also known as scalp facial... Book an appointment to indulge yourself in the most relaxing hair service of all. Focus on the health of your scalp. We start off by doing a deep scalp cleansing treatment that will remove all impurities from your hair and scalp, this includes a 15-minute scalp massage 💆‍♀️ we them move on to the conditioning of your hair. A clean scalp in combination with the massage promotes blood circulation for healthy hair growth. Don't miss out. You can add this service to any of the other services available. Just make sure to let me know ahead since it does take an extra 30 minutes , so I can book accordingly. 📖 😀 😉

Dear valuable clients, I hate to do this, but I have to set boundaries. Lately, I've been getting a few last-minute cancelations or simply not showing up to their appts. Please understand that I set aside what ever time I need just for you, and that if you cancel last minute or don't cancel at all or just don't show up is money and time that I'm losing. It is also not fair for the clients that do want an appt, and I told them I was booked because I'm respecting your time and your appt. Please remember that I have a cancelation policy minimum of 48hrs to change or cancel your appt. If you have a No Show, I will no longer be giving another appt unless you pay in full the lost appt, and pre-paid the new one at the time of booking. New Year, better habits!

Everyone washes their hair… but are you doing it correctly?!

Contrary to popular belief and habit, scrubbing your hair all over is NOT the best method…

Each strand has texture, like scales on a fish, so scrubbing against the hair’s surface while wet puts your mane at risk of weakening!

Most of the time, our hair isn’t dirty. The purpose of shampooing is to remove the oils from the scalp.

Follow this shampoo method to keep your hair safe from damage ↘️

1. In the shower, wet your hair with tepid water.

2. Using a small amount of shampoo, apply product at the scalp and lather/cleanse your scalp and your hair only at the roots. Allow shampoo to remain on the hair for about 2 minutes.

3. Rinse hair completely of shampoo. The product rinsing off of your scalp is enough to cleanse the lengths of your hair in most cases!

4. Using the conditioner that best meets your hair needs, apply from mid shaft to ends. (If you have natural curly hair and wish to maintain yoir natural curl pattern, detangle your hair gently, with a wide tooth comb, begin in at the ends and slowly working up as not to tangle further)

5. Rinse the conditioner of your hair again with tepid water. Do NOT rinse completely. Your hair should not feel greasy but just barely filmy. Rinsing hair “squeaky clean” after conditioning eliminates the benefits of a conditioner. By barely leaving a trace in your hair you’re allowing the conditioner to aid in protection from heat, styling, and other elements.

6. Squeeze excess water from your hair by hand. Blot with a towel or t-shirt.

7. Apply Leave In Reconstructor, your other favorite products and style.

Your hair will thank you.
