The Washington Memorial Heritage was founded in 2005 as a secular entity to raise funds to accomplish its mission: the restoration and preservation of the beautiful art and architecture of the Washington Memorial Chapel, as well as the interpretation of the history and ideals proclaimed by the Memorial.

Our Story
The Washington Memorial Heritage was founded in 2005 as a secular entity to raise funds to accomplish its mission: the restoration and preservation of the beautiful art and architecture of the Washington Memorial Chapel, as well as the interpretation of the history and ideals proclaimed by the Memorial. The Chapel was founded to honor George Washington and the Troops and the founding Fathers.
