Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads out there!
Whether you’re a biological dad, stepdad, adoptive dad, foster dad, or a father figure, your love, guidance, and support mean the world.
Today we celebrate all the amazing ways you shape lives and create lasting memories. Thank you for everything you do!
"To be frank, I was quite nervous to step into this new role – however that nervousness quickly abated upon the extremely warm welcome I received & the continual friendliness towards ‘the new I.T. guy’. I have developed many great friendships here and I am so thankful for the patience and kindness from all ARK staff. Thank you so much!"
Congratulations, Skyler and THANK YOU for all you do! 🌟

IT'S OK TO SEEK HELP.
Men often feel pressure to suppress their emotions or tough it out when facing mental health challenges. However, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether it's talking to a therapist, counselor, or trusted friend, reaching out for support can make a significant difference in managing mental health issues.
MENTAL HEALTH AFFECTS EVERYONE.
Mental health does not discriminate based on gender. Men can experience a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. It's essential to recognize the signs and symptoms and address them proactively rather than ignoring them.
SOCIAL SUPPORT IS VITAL.
Building a support network of friends, family, or peers who understand and empathize with your struggles can provide invaluable support during tough times. Having someone to talk to or lean on can reduce feelings of isolation and improve mental well-being.
SELF-CARE MATTERS.
Just as you prioritize physical health through exercise and proper nutrition, it's crucial to prioritize mental health through self-care practices. This might include activities like mindfulness meditation, hobbies that bring joy, regular exercise, adequate sleep, and setting healthy boundaries to manage stress effectively.

Transformation Tuesday!
"My time at ORC has been truly life-changing. There are no words to describe it really but I'll try. The transformation of myself has been nothing short of miraculous. I now have the inner strength to help people and for the first time in as long as I remember, I love the man I see in the mirror. This place didn't just save my life, it has provided me the opportunity at a new one. This life I've always yearned for. This opportunity will not be lost. I hope to see ORC again in the future, not like the first time but to give back. The only way I can think of to truly express my gratitude is to share what I have with struggling addict or alcoholic. My story was dark, but now it's incredibly bright and if I can provide hope to one, then I'll humbly share it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all at ORC." ~Bobby D.
Keep shining, Bobby! 🌞

What a great turnout!
Keep an eye out for more opportunities like this in the future.

Meet Tina!
Tina Clayton, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APRN, CNP, has been at ORC since we've opened and is the supervisor of the Nurse Practitioners
"In 2019, I earned my PMHNP degree from Walden University after dedicating 17 years to serving as an emergency room nurse. My passion for psychiatric nursing stemmed from personal experiences with family members grappling with alcoholism. As a veteran, I had a desire to assist fellow veterans battling addiction, a goal I've been fortunate to pursue in my current role."

"I had been steadily drinking since I was 15 years old, and as Christmas approached in my 63rd year I realized how sick I was. I was very nervous about coming to treatment, but ORC admission line didn't give up on me and I knew I had to do something. ORC drove 3 hours to pick me up for detox and I ended up staying for 30 more days! I'm glad I did, and I look forward to living a real life now." ~Becca H
Congratulations, Becca! We are so proud of you!
