Day 1 of the “Build Your Future” event was a blast! This event gives local area students a glimpse of the hands-on experience and the types of tasks and skills that are needed to work in the skilled trades. There is a tremendous shortage of future talent in the industry and it is refreshing to see our community, businesses, and schools promote these opportunities for a great career to our local students. Day 2 involves another 300 students attending the event tomorrow held at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds!
Our Human Resources Manager Karli Turnwald and VP of Business Development Cory Michaud helped students build cell phone holders in the “Carpentry” rotation that they were able to take home!
