Let’s talk about growth! And I’m talking about your brow hair. I’m talking about personal growth. One thing about me is that I am always trying to be better than I was yesterday. I’m in competition with no one, just myself.

If you swipe through, you’ll find a photo of my very first lamination from the beginning of this year. My dear friend was so kind to let me try this new method on her. It wasn’t the best and I was still working out so many kinks. How long should I process? How can I tell when it’s done? How do I apply tint that won’t look messy?

I watched countless reels and looked at so many other artists like , , .byniq and so many more. I meticulously watched everything they did. Studied! Every client that came in I practice a new technique. Something that I had seen on a reel or in a post. I practiced.

I’m no where near where I want to be, but I’m better than I was yesterday. So thank you, for trusting me to be your artist. And thank you to my friends who have let me learn with you. A big thank you to artist that share their knowledge on this app. 🫶🏽

This client reached out to me for an Ombre brow, but unfortunately due to other reasons outside of our control we did a brow lamination instead. She was really skeptical at first, but in the end she was in love with the outcome.

We’ll be tattooing these brows on my next trip to California.

If you’ve gotten your brows laminated, have you scheduled your “touch up” aka maintenance appointment?

The photos you see above are of my clients who have never failed to come in for their maintenance appointment and practice proper after care.

What does a “touch up” include?
-cleansing, shaping (wax, if needed), conditioning and tinting.
This will help maintain the overall health of your brows as well as the new shape we have created. These appointments are scheduled 3wks out and you will have TWO touch ups between laminations.

All of this goes along with how YOU care for your brows once you leave my studio. That means, applying your castor oil (which I provide as part of your aftercare kit) nightly. As well as brushing your brows in place, especially when they are wet.

This is all I use on my brows. REFY brow sculpt is hands down the best brow gel, cream etc out there. I have tried “brow freeze” by ABH and “gimme brow” and nothing holds up like REFY. I am a very expressive person and I’m constantly moving my brows, REFY keeps them locked in place. It helps extend my laminated brow look especially when I’m due for a lamination.
I then apply benefits brow pencil to line under the brow and brush up. Takes me 5mins to do and I’m out the door. I swear by it!

Thank goodness that sleek laminated look only lasts for 24hrs. Straight after the brows are laminated they are set in place using an oil based solution which gives off that 𝑔𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑦 effect.

They will stay looking like the pictures above for the first 24hrs as they are still in their setting stage. Once the 24hrs are up, you can brush them and fluff them up to your desired look.
