The Senior Lifestyle Community Fair on Sunday was such a great chance to connect with our local community! "Who are you?", was often the first question asked. The answer, "We are Vancouver Comfort Keepers! We meet those we serve exactly where they are in life. We work together to meet any challenge, to take a whole-person approach to caregiving and keep the seniors who trust us with their care, safe and thriving in the homes they love."

Here at Vancouver Comfort Keepers, we deeply mourn the loss of our beloved colleague, Sandra Henriksen; Hillsboro, Oregon.
This week, we received the profoundly sad news that Sandra passed away peacefully in her sleep. Our Comfort Keeper family lost a giant, and a dear friend.
I met Sandra and her husband, Bob, in 2014. When I came to Comfort Keepers as a brand-new franchise owner in Vancouver, Washington, I had a vision and a lot of enthusiasm but not a lot of confidence. Sandra took me under her wing in those early months and years.
She blew in like a storm from south of the Columbia River. She was larger than life, and full of energy and spirit. She had business industry wisdom that only a seasoned franchise owner could have, and mentorship skills that came straight from the heart. She was fearless and fierce; a "tough love" mentor. She believed in me; she believed I would succeed, and she celebrated each new success with me as we built the Vancouver franchise. Sandra embodied the core values and principles of the Comfort Keepers brand - She truly did elevate the human spirt.
This coming Sunday Team Comfort Keepers will be walking to end Alzheimer's in honor of Sandra's beloved husband Bob who passed away in 2017 from this horrible disease. We are ever grateful for Sandra's ENDLESS and GENEROUS support to our team and this cause, and will miss her profoundly. We take comfort in our faith that Sandra and Bob are together once more, and know they will be with us all in spirit 🙏❤️
Rest in peace, Sandra. We love you.

Our Story
We help seniors and other adults live safely, happily and independently in their own homes. We provide companionship and personal care services that do not require medical care. These include: bathing, grooming, feeding, fixing meals, washing clothes, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, care for those with memory issues, and 24-hour care.
We offer these services by practicing a special type of care, called Interactive Caregiving that helps improve seniors' quality of life by keeping their minds and bodies active, making sure they eat nutritious food, and helping them live safely at home.
