The morale continues to strengthen here in Valdosta and the people are beginning to get back to normal. The electricity and water is back on for most places and roadways and businesses are beginning to open again.

This job was carried out in close quarters, but that's something Green Topps has many years of expert experience pulling off in ways that put everyone's mind at ease. As you can see in the second photo, this tree was situated in and amongst numerous utility lines, including power. With close coordination between Nate, and the rest of our top-notch ground crew, this hazard disappeared with ZERO damage and no traffic or other disruptions to the local neighborhood. Trees with multiple trunks, referred to as "codominant stems or codominant leaders," can appear harmless to the untrained eye. However, this type of tree structure is often responsible for large portions of trees breaking or falling during storms. That's exactly what happened to the oak tree in this image. We thank the homeowner for trusting us with removal of the broken trunk from their garage roof, and what remained of the compromised tree.

As you can see, codominant stems create weaknesses in trees, which can become especially hazardous during high winds, like those in Florida's unpredictable summer storm season.
