Half way through the week. Two more days then I get to sleep in!

Yes, I do wear sneakers with a dress if I'm taking a walk. Especially if they are my super comfy shoes.

I love resetting my focus on Sunday mornings.

Saturdays are a time for cool, simple outfits like this cute romper. Perfect for all my weekend chores.

After a busy 2 weeks full of appointments, an appointment free day end to this week was most welcome. As a bonus, it was cooler today so I was able to get in some gardening after work.

I seem to be in a punk vibe this week. Do you ever find yourself wearing a single color predominantly for several days in a row?

I got several compliments on my outfit today while I was at the DMV to renew my driver's license. I love that a dress which is cool and comfortable is so stylish at the same time.

I know I'm a wimp when it comes to heat, but I realized how much of one this morning. I was sure it had to be around 80 degrees when I took my morning walk at 8 this morning. My phone said it was only 70 however 🥵. Of course, once I refreshed my phone it insisted it was 72 and foggy (despite the bright sun, blue sky, and few clouds) so maybe my phone was lying. Anyhow, I stayed inside with the ac on!

The thermometer has been reaching a little too high for me lately so I pulled together this outfit to stay cool at worship this morning. How are you dealing with the weather in your area?

Had an enjoyable afternoon with good food and friends today.

This outfit was perfect for today. It had a patriotic vibe for the day before The Fourth of July plus it separated easily since I had another echocardiogram today.

It's been a long, productive day, which is better than I'd thought it be when I got up. First thing I did was question why my alarm wasn't going off - as I was turning it off🤦‍♀️.
Worship services were good.
After lunch I washed my car, watered both the front and back yards, and made 2 batches of zucchini muffins.
Now to relax a little

Yesterday I fell backwards and landed super hard while trimming some errant tree branches along my back fence. This brought my gardening to an abrupt halt. The after effects can still be seen outside. My back is a little better today, but only a little. Thankfully I work from home so I didn't have to call in because I couldn't drive to work. Also, I was thankfully able to switch my Rhuematology apt today to a virtual visit so I didn't have to do a last minute cancel. What are you thankful for today?

Few people have the impact on a person that their Mother has. Fortunately, most have good mothers who love them unconditionally and raise them to be good humans. Sadly, some have bad mothers who have to work hard to overcome the negative impact to become functioning humans and good mothers. I am so lucky to fall in the first category with a wonderful mother who nutured me all my life and still tries to despite physical problems making that increasingly more difficult for her. Thank you Mom for always being there when I need you.

I had a different outfit selected for today, but went with this outfit (more or less - I did swap out the Eliza for a pink Amber for more of a Spring feel) instead since it's cooler and rainy today. We even got about a minute or two of hail!

With Spring almost here, I thought this ladybug print would be perfect. It helped brighten up the overcast skies which decided to drop some moisture just as I was getting ready to take pictures.

Started the day wearing one of the few green outfits I have. Then I finished the day working on freshening up the green in my front yard.

Since today is the last Sunday before St Patrick's Day I had to wear some green.

It may have neen a mere 50 degrees heading out to worship services, but I decided it was time for a bit of Spring color

Hump day is especially fine this week as I took the whole day off. I had a couple of Dr appointments plus a chance to sleep in a little. It was a nice recharge.

So, I got a call after my last mammogram that they needed to recheck one area because it wasn't pictured well. So today after work I've come to Oxnard for a flow up mammogram and ultrasound. I'm not expecting anything to be wrong, but I am getting it rechecked just to be sure.
