A recent job we finished for the new store in Venice.
The old aluminum window frames were covered with these beautiful walnut frames, inside and out. There’s also four walnut planters we are making for the exterior coming up!

Had the wonderful opportunity to build a mini shed/loft in Alaska with . We dubbed it “the ranger station.” It’s 120 miles, and a 45 minute boat ride from the nearest lumberyard, there’s no flat ground, everything is muddy, it rains constantly, and there’s no electricity other than a little generator. I also built some small curved countertops for their yurts, as well as some new composting toilet designs. A bit different than shop work but such a challenging adventure.

Just finished this nice walnut and brass corner table shipping out this week. Feeling very grateful for the ability to continue working through the shutdown. People are taking the time to improve their homes and I’m thrilled my services can brighten up that awkward corner. 22” X 22” X 35”

Very happy to be starting a new project for . We’ll be making a massive mosaic with many different wood species to be used as a photo wall for every employee (over 650). Excited to be working with .of.grain on this challenging new piece!

Just want to give a big thank you to all my family, friends and clients this past year. And most of all my incredible wife for always believing in me and pushing me to do my very best, I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for her.

This year was the most challenging and rewarding year for me professionally. I’m eternally grateful to my clients for putting a lot of trust in me to accomplish things I’ve never even tried before. That’s a very special gift and I’m grateful to every project and every client that came knocking on my little door this year. Here’s to the next year, it’s going to be a banger.

Here are some proper photos of the walnut cabinet/shelving unit I’ve been working on. I’m really happy with how this turned out, cabinets are always a challenge.
This one features 3 drawers and a slide out tray to keep the printer out of sight. Solid walnut throughout except the drawer interiors. Drawer pulls from and metal work by .

So grateful to have had the opportunity to design and build this dream of a bookcase for . Then to see it filled with books and a room full of people enjoying it and having interesting conversations around it... what a great moment. Just finished this massive 14’ X 13’ bookcase for a new client moving into a very cool industrial building in downtown LA. Very happy with how well this turned out and how well the install went. Blackened steel frame made by fit with ash shelving for a nice contrast.

The kitchen island was built around a support post, that was a fun one. 1.5” solid ash top with a blackened steel frame.

This walnut and steel table is also available. California Claro walnut slab with a live edge face, brushed steel legs and a tempered glass bottom shelf. Dm if interested!

Wrapped up this custom live edge table with a curve on the backside that will rest against a concave wall section at the client’s home. I was sent a template made from paper towels and scotch tape so I hope this fits! The legs will be matte black also just a side note.
