We've all been there... sitting on that sideline, watching our kids get coached by someone who, well... has no idea how to coach. We remind ourselves that "they're just a volunteer" and "they have a soul" and "it's just a game", but it's still hard to watch.

As someone who has BEEN that coach, it's even more frustrating to be standing there cluelessly trying to coach! Coaches want their teams to do well and have fun and even WIN!

That's why we hook our coaches up with amazing resources, training and support. We don't expect them to create everything from scratch- we give them game and practice plans that will help them and their team thrive. We want them to feel equipped and empowered to bring out the very best in your kids, because that's what they deserve!

Hello Saticoy Little League JR Families,

First off we want to take this opportunity to say thank you for registering to play at Saticoy Little League, for most of your children this will be their last year playing little league and will possibly be moving on to High school next year. The purpose of this email is to inform all families of the status of this year's Jr Division.

We currently have 19 kids. Our hope is that we get at least 3 more players and can have 2 teams. We still will need a second manager. We are trying to give all kids the chance to play, however, if we can not completely fill 2 teams we may be forced to ask any kids coming over on a waiver to go back to their home league. If you know any kids that would like to join Saticoy Little league for their Jr year, please encourage them to sign up.

We understand that many kids would like to play with friends for their last year of little league even if that means coming over on a waiver. Waivers will need to be processed prior to tryouts. We will need to have waivers complete by Jan 14, in order to get them sent to District for approval. Please submit your letter requesting to play at Saticoy LL as soon as possible. As a reminder, submitting your letter does not guarantee a spot, we will still need 2 teams to make this happen. Please know that you can always go back to your home league. If you do choose to go back to your home league, please notify us as soon as possible so that players aren’t registered at multiple leagues at once. We will notify you as soon as we can, if we are unable to make 2 teams happen.
