It's not often that a Grape regular is honored with a song in their honor. That happened tonight as Bevan Manson introduced a swingin' new tune named for a conversation he had here with one of our own, "Try this, Dave Levy." This was a special treat for all of us. And the great Ted Nash joined the band on stage to boot. The Grape is a very special place ❤️

Adam Moezinia's "Folk Element Trio" is rooted in the tradition of jazz but reaches beyond to incorporate different styles of folk music from around the world including West Africa, the Caribbean, The UK and Appalachia. They released their debut album in April of 2021 to rave reviews and have since been performing all around the country. They will be performing at The Grape as part of a month-long west coast tour from San Diego to Vancouver.
