The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Pastors, your work is more meaningful than you know. In the midst of pain, may you find purpose in walking the path of Christ, being strengthened and shaped by Him. Through every challenge, may your heart stay joyful, resilient, and at peace, trusting the God who is with you. We appreciate all that you do.
The landscape of pastoral ministry is changing (for the better). Here’s what’s trending:
1. 51% of pastors report heightened confidence in their calling compared to when they began ministry.
2. 59% of pastors now express feeling "very satisfied" with their vocation.
3. Since March of 2022, the number of pastors thinking about leaving full-time ministry has decreased from 42% to 33%.
As we reflect on these positive trends, let’s take a moment to show gratitude for the pastors who dedicate their lives to serving and leading us.

Mental health awareness and support is extremely important for all individuals, including those in leadership positions within our communities.
Recent research from Barna sheds light on the mental health challenges pastors face. While most pastors express a desire to improve their mental health, the reality is that a majority of them are still handling these challenges on their own, particularly when it comes to seeking professional support.
It’s difficult to think about faith leaders finding themselves in these dark places. But there is much to be learned in reckoning honestly with the universality of human fragility, as well as the specific pressures of pastoring.

What is the best method for believers to learn more about Christianity?
Eighty-five percent of pastors view one-on-one conversations with fellow Christians as one of the most successful opportunities for learning about and deepening one’s understanding of Christianity. Only 35 percent say this learning can come from reading scripture on one’s own, while just 27 percent say Christians can get that opportunity during church services.

“The Open Generation” Volume 3 reveals eye-opening insights:
1. Desire for Impact: 87% of teens agree, “My generation has the ability to make a positive and meaningful impact on the world.”
2. Lack of Confidence in the Church: Only 23% of global teens believe the Church is “definitely” making a difference in issues like poverty and justice.
These stats highlight a significant disconnect. Teens want to make a meaningful impact, but many don’t see the Church leading the way. Yet, we know the Church’s main desire is to make a difference. So, where’s the gap?
The Open Generation VIII study dives deep into how teens can make an impact and how churches are (or aren’t) supporting and equipping them. This report offers guidance to see into the hearts and minds of the next generation, helping us understand how we can minister to them and ultimately make an impact for Christ.
Our recent research uncovers this significant insight: Many Christians feel unequipped to disciple others.
37% if Christians do not think they are qualified or equipped, 24% have never been prompted or asked to disciple, and 22% simple haven’t thought about it.
These statistics highlight a critical opportunity for church leaders to put disciples in the center of their congregations.

📈 New research on the ethics of AI released in partnership with Barna Group 👀

“We know from our recent research findings that most people, not just Christians, are navigating where and when to use AI in alignment with their personal values. It’s no surprise that most Christian adults believe ministry tasks requiring a personal touch should be done by humans,” said Steele Billings, head of AI at Gloo, “But what may be surprising to most ministry leaders is that many Christians are optimistic about using AI beyond just everyday administrative tasks.”
