2/12 super bowl sunday+rosebowl+ my fave niece’s bday, ahhh so much going on today🪄
although never really found my groove at all today i did find some great vintage picks, saw my fav vendors (basically everyone), and loved seeing everyone’s outfits+vendor’s displays for inspo… rosebowl’s literally just a walking runway full of antiques to play with, by far one of my fav playgrounds, here’s some of what was seen or experienced throughout the day, also have some gorgeous vintage pottery heading into the shop+vintage clothing+ some large home furnishings, hehhe just keep an eye open also we’ll be open tomorrow for some last minute vday gifts if you’re into that❤️‍🔥 until Long Beach 😤😈

I’ve never felt much attachment to vintage clothing or had a niche for it, I’ve mainly always focused on old broken things or ripped articles of clothing but acquiring this piece hit different. This is a dream made in 1970s heaven, with the original tag that is labeled “the mirror” and each little purple lucite button accent, to the brown stitching of the hem and let’s not forget the bell sleeves. This piece screamed at me. Could it be for sale? Yes, to the right person. But for now it’s just too beautiful not to catch a glimpse of or share. And yep it truly does show lots of skin, and for those who say woah that’s a lot, ya know everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect you! But personally, one of my biggest things I like to tell each and everybody is where what you love regardless of judgement. Yesterday a fabulous dealer told me & my sister at PCC “stay true to who you are & stay true to what you buy & sell & nothing else will matter & you will make it in this business girls” and a long story to go along with it but it’s the fact that she took the time to tell us that bit of WISE wisdom to remind me that it’s okay to be eccentric, it’s okay to be edgy, to dress fem/masc, because you only get one body, and it needs to be honored and comfortable in anything you choose to put it in! And people will see that. From the time I was young multiple vendors always told me your hands were decked out in rings that were way too big for you, and well they’re not wrong but it reminds me that yes I am nut. Yes I do wear what I want, and yes I am proud of it. And to those of you who don’t, start. Start wearing what you love or what calls you. I absolutely recommend it. PSA you’ll probably be seeing a lot of my Jack sparrow looks this fall… including the black eyeliner/shadow🥲.

I am really excited about this piece! 🤩The simplicity of the shapes and vibrant color on a broad background harmoniously convey the joy of a moment in time, sailing at the beach in broad sunlight. Living in this coastal town has few downsides (if any, really) and the beach plays a permanent role in my life whether I’m driving by, getting tacos on the pier and graciously asking the universe for a miracle, or walking on the sand after long day’s work thus, this artwork really expresses that sentiment that sometimes it’s the little things in life that make a great life. we love f-ART!❤️‍🔥 these pieces make me drool… especially the floral oil, it’s so 🤤and the frame, yes even with imperfections I think it still brightens up a whole room and for sure changes my mood. to start this off tag everybody cause I don’t have all their IG’s!!! To start off summer 2022 .805 & got invited to this amazing Zion camping trip, and boy was it an adventure! We are so grateful & honored we got to attend. I can finally say I’ve camped, gone to another state, & spent it with people that mean the world to me! This trip taught me a lot about what I want to value in my life and the people I want in my life, and I definitely connected myself with some good old desert soil which was much needed.🏜🌵 All these families are full of the coolest, funniest, kindest, most genuine, intelligent, accepting, non judgmental, (insanely gorgeous) people and kiddos, & I only hope to make more memories with this cool crew! I can never stress this enough but I definitely feel very lucky to be in these kiddos lives & treat them like my own nieces & nephews, they definitely teach me a lot about the woman I’m trying to become and they open my eyes to the truth and what it means to be a good person. So I guess what I’m trying to say about this entire Utah trip, was that it was magic. These families are magic. Nature is magic. The overall experience was everything and more. And when you have all that it’s kind of what makes life pretty awesome. I love all of you guys! Here’s to summer 2022!

And just like that prom season is around the corner, I have to admit I’m a little bit jealous seeing all these cute gals buying their dresses and planning for their fun night with their friends but then I realize I do get to be a part of their experience. Not only do they get to play dress up at the shop but they end up with the dress that’s vintage, one of a kind, & hand picked. Like not gonna lie I’m pretty blessed and grateful that our shops are able to cater to the youth and that they enjoy buying secondhand or shopping with us. And it makes me think of the time when I was in high school always looking forward to the main events leading up to my senior year and now fast forward 5 years later and here I am helping out the students of today with their fashion or wardrobes they wear. It’s funny, it’s definitely an understatement when people say time flies after high school. I’m happy with my job working at our shops and being one of the few vintage shops that surround our pretty little city, but to the kids who are in high school, enjoy your time being young & dumb, and wear what you want, accessorize how you want, buy vintage, buy something unique, because you don’t deserve to blend in ever, you deserve to stand out. And on that note , guys & girls, & parents if your kid needs a vintage prom dress or an outfit check out our little vintage shops & .805 ❤️

In case ya didn’t know I love Ta**us season not only because I’m a Ta**us rising, but I have a few special Ta**us in my life, my ex loves have been Ta**us, I just love how grounded they make me feel and how well Scorpio & Ta**us bond. Plus once Gemini season kicks in I will not be a fan, Gemini’s are not my favorite & I will absolutely always bad mouth them except for Lois hehe. (Literally have no shame) But if you are one, beware. I will sting you. ANYWAYS on another note these amazing vintage denim sailor pants came in. They’re about a size 4/6, they’re a little on the longer side as I am troll size so they’ll definitely look fabulous on someone with a little more height! It has been months since I’ve done a thoughtful post or put intention into what I want to share with you and well the last few months I owe no one an explanation or details of what has happened (with all due respect🖤) but amidst the chaos and the emotions that I’ve felt, it’s been a true hurricane. But I have to say I’m finally back to my spicy Scorpio self. Aries season has definitely shown me just how beautiful life can really be when you’re absolutely forward* and CLEAR* about what you want in life, love, your career. The one thing you can’t do though is lie, often times we confuse love and lies, especially amongst ourselves and I promise you the minute you start living* for yourself and stop lying*** to yourself you may find the small joys in life and what really fires you up. Aries are such beautiful zodiacs because they are true fire, they want it all, and they can literally have it all because they live for themselves, and it’s an admirable quality. Not one that many people carry. They’re a fine balance of selfless & selfish. (In the right scenarios). So this rant leads me to my main point. You can have it all in life: love, your dream career, rescue pets, real estate, s*x, w**d, lavish cars, vintage collectibles, a garden, kids😬, antiques, vintage clothing, etc... only thing is in order to achieve that you have to be free of the lies you live with or tell yourself and also be a mix of that •selfless & selfish•.In this life you are entitled to live as you wish and there’s nothing wrong with that, and yes you can have it all.
