I would like to thank Jenn from Dog Gone Recovery.

There has been a small dog missing since 7/8/24. Animal Control received information on a sighting. Jenn had set up cameras then a trap. Dog was caught within 48 hours.

Missing Cat in the Spring Street area.

I’m happy to announce Officer Zawadski and K9 Franco will be competing once again at the Connecticut K9 Olympics taking place on September 21, 2024 at 285 Shaker Rd. in Enfield, CT! This team is representing the Vernon Police Department! K9 Franco is a 4 year old German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois mix. They are National Narcotic Detector Dog Association (NNDDA) and Connecticut Police Working Dog Association (CPWDA) certified. In the 2 years they have been working together, they have had multiple tracks and finds, they located a stolen firearm and drum magazine used in a domestic, they have multiple narcotic seziures, and one physical apprehension! Let’s go team Franco!

Missing Dog

This mini yorkie named Preston went missing this morning from Highland Park Market. It is unknown if he was taken or if he jumped out of the vehicle, but at this time he is still missing. Please contact the Coventry Police Department if you have any information at 860-742-7331.
