Let’s talk about one of my favorite at home skincare devices…

NuFace is the first FDA cleared clinically proven handheld microcurrent device. But what is microcurrent? You can think of microcurrent as a workout for your facial muscles to help tone, tighten and lift! I love for the ease of use and the fact it ACTUALLY WORKS! And it’s also a ~safe~ at home tool (because there are so many not so safe at home tools out there 😅)

custom facial + oxygenating trio + a hydrojelly mask has always been my go to for that glazed donut glow 🍩 but with the addition of LED light therapy and a cooling soothing hyaluronic acid mist, it’s better than ever 😍

Just peachy 🍑✨ discovered my new favorite jelly mask combo today, Australian Sheep Placenta + Himalayan White Tea and it smells sweet and fruity too 🤩

We all know SPF is everyone’s BFF, but did you know about SPF’s bestie, antioxidants!? 🧴✨

Antioxidants act as an extra dose of protection from environmental stressors like the sun, and help to boost the efficacy of your sunscreen. You may think about a vitamin c serum in the morning before your sunscreen to get in your AOX+, but my favorite way to supplement them is through Daily Defense Mist

Daily Defense Mist is refreshing, hydrating, smells good, and can be used before or after sunscreen OR makeup (like as a setting spray). It’s a .co employee fave 😉

Daily Defense Mist + Daily Defense SPF = match made in heaven 😇 (and in this Florida sun)

In summertime it’s all about focusing on protection (antioxidants + spf), prevention (tyrosinase inhibitors aka pigment blockers) and HYDRATION!

I like to press pause on chemical peels until the Fall and opt for oxygen treatments and LED light therapy instead.

🩶ANTIOXIDANTS + SUNSCREEN: antioxidants are a must in the AM as they provide the skin with extra dose of environmental protection, essentially boosting the efficacy of your sunscreen.

🩶RETINOL + HYALURONIC ACID: despite its name, HA (hyaluronic acid) is not what we think of as a typical “acid”, but rather a water binding molecule that helps to retain moisture in the skin. Retinol can leave your skin thirsty so adding in a HA serum will help keep your skin hydrated!

🩶NIACINAMIDE + AHA/BHA: while niacinamide (vitamin B3) plays nicely with most skincare ingredients, using it in conjunction with an alpha or beta hydroxy acid can make ✨magic✨. Niacinamide helps to brighten the skin, regulate oil production and strengthen the skins barrier. AHAs such as lactic, glycolic or mandelic will help enhance skin brightening, while BHA (salicylic acid) helps to control oil.
