Jeffrey Nelson does marquetry: the fine art of wood inlay. He designs an image, selects the woods (and shells and stones) based on hues, grains & textures. Then he cuts and inlays each piece. After gluing and sanding, his art is finished with a lacquer.

Mark Poole is the artist with Orchard View Pottery and his one-of-a-kind raku pieces are made on a potter's wheel and fired in an outdoor kiln. See him on 14th Avenue in Downtown Vero Beach this weekend.

Jessie and Dan Driscoll make artful jewelry from vintage US coins. One side of an old silver coin is sanded off & transformed into a design, leaving coin image intact on reverse side. The pictured bracelet has 19 coins.

Using traditional southwestern silversmith techniques Carly Cappelluzzo handcrafts sterling silver jewelry. She uses semiprecious gemstones, fossilized shark tooth and shells in her pieces and hand cuts all of her stones.
