Hogan Yards

Following the devastating tornados that hit Vero and Ft Pierce on Oct 9th, we at Hogan Yards were very lucky to escape with this little damage. Our prayers go out to those who lost so much - for some, everything - in the last week.

This historic packinghouse suffered major damage during its construction following a hurricane in Aug 1949, yet was rebuilt and prospered for many years afterward. Now 75 years later, the packinghouse remains standing, still resilient as ever.

It’s heartwarming to see how quickly our community is working to heal and rebuild together. It’s that kind of commitment to each other that makes Vero Beach so special.
