Happy Earth Day! Here is a great native plant. Does good In shade/sun. Blooms from end of June - Aug/Sept. Good fragrance and nice fall color. This shrub is one that is on the top of my list. What is your favorite native plant?

Sometimes you just need stop what your doing take a look around and enjoy life a bit. Having fun at work. Supply workers with glasses to view the eclipse.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms

With Earth day being tomorrow, this is one of my favorite shrubs/small trees the Hamamelis Virginian Witch Hazel. Reason this is one of our favorites shrubs is: it’s native to our area, has very few pest/diseases problems, it can tolerate wet and some what shady areas, has brilliant fall color, it flowers in late winter when other things aren’t in bloom, it is fragrant, and is somewhat deer resistant. What are some of your favorite plants/shrubs or trees and why?
