Another successful Pisgah Day in the Country at Ashbrook Farm. Great to see so many familiar faces and to meet new people in the community. Thanks for coming out for this annual event.

TALENT CALL: we're looking for talented young performers interested in donating an hour or more of their time to help the Pisgah Historic Association build awareness of and help preserve Kentucky's unique and beautiful Pisgah Historic District, one of only several rare, Woodland Pasture areas in the world.
WHAT: A DAY IN THE COUNTRY The annual day of fun at Ashbrook Farm, gorgeous thoroughbred horse farm of Sandi and Glen Bromagen. Auction, drawing, unique barn and attic finds, bake sale, rides for kids, plants for sale. Interesting booths. Fun outdoors and in the big barn! "Fair" like setting!
SINGERS, SHOW US YOUR STUFF! (We'll show you ours) Singers, bring a friend with an instrument! Day in the Country is typically enjoyed by several hundred enthusiastic people.

kyforward.com The Pisgah Community Historic Association will host their annual fundraising Day in the Country event June 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fun starts at Ashbrook Farm barn, which is firegate No. 24 on Pisgah Pike about two miles north of the intersection of Lexington Road and Pisgah.

Pisgah Historic District will be showcased at the Kentucky State Fair in the Woodford County booth on Tuesday, Aug. 21. Come by and enter a drawing to win a gift basket and farm tour in our historic district.

All Woodford County residents, grades 9-12, are encouraged to submit an essay describing why the Pisgah Community Historic Association is of historic and/or agricultural importance to Woodford County! There is a CASH reward! Entries are due March 15, 2012.

Woodford County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, the population was 24,939. Its county seat is Versailles.

PCHA gives CASH reward for Essay!
The Pisgah Community Historical Association would like to inform all Woodford County residents in grades 9-12 of the opportunity to receive a CASH reward. How? Write an essay. Take a drive down the beautiful area located on Pisgah Pike, Paynes Mill, Old Frankfort Pike, Big Sink Road and/or Williams Lane in Woodford County. Describe what you see and comment upon why this area is of historic and/or agricultural importance to Woodford County. The essay should be 500 words or less, describing the Pisgah Community Historical Association. The first place essay will be $500 and the second place essay will be $250. When? Entries are due on or before March 15, 2012 and must be submitted to: [email protected]. Provide name and contact information on the essay submitted. Essays will be judged by (3) appointed members of the Pisgah Community Historical Association and the winners will be announced on May 1, 2012. Good luck and visit us on Facebook!

Woodford County High School is a public high school located in Versailles, Kentucky, United States. It serves grades 9–12 and since 1963 has been the only public high school in Woodford County.
